New Orlando BBQ spot Smokemade Meats + Eats an instant hit
A hyperactive Facebook group called Orlando Foodie Forum presented by Tasty Chomps! was abuzz on March 22.
That’s when Smokemade Meats + Eats had its soft opening at 1400 S. Crystal Lake Drive, in the neighborhood known as Curry Ford West, near the Hourglass District.
Doors opened at 11 a.m. — by which time the line of people waiting to order spilled out the door and down the block.
On Facebook, comments and shares about the hotly anticipated new barbecue joint proliferated.
